On Wednesday, July 23, in the presence of Mayor Rodolfo Ziberna, the new Unieuro store was inaugurated in Gorizia at Via Terza Armata 119. Italy’s leading consumer electronics and home appliances retailer thus continues its territorial expansion in the North-East, in line with the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, which includes 30 major new openings nationwide.

The new store, with a surface area of 1,155 square meters, is the first in the city to offer a wide range of technology products and services, designed for a diverse and international target audience from both Italy and Slovenia. Supporting customers is a team of 13 sales associates, including 12 new hires, ready to provide personalized advice and a high-quality shopping experience.

With this new opening, Unieuro strengthens its commitment to local development, creating new job opportunities and enhancing the city’s economic fabric.

“The opening in Gorizia represents a significant step in our strategy for growth and expansion across the national territory,” said Stefano Appolloni, Direct Channel Director North at Unieuro. “Gorizia is a strategic area to capture growing tourist and commercial flows. Our goal is to become the reference point for technology purchases, both for Italian consumers and those across the border.”

“The arrival of an important commercial player like Unieuro, a leader in its sector, is a great source of satisfaction for Gorizia. The reasons are many: certainly the positive impact on employment, but even more so the service to citizens that the retailer can offer in a product category—home appliances—that until now required residents to travel outside the city. I therefore wish Unieuro every success,” commented Rodolfo Ziberna, Mayor of Gorizia.
