Personnel training and career development
We view training as a strategic investment that empowers our employees, fosters a strong corporate culture, supports career development, and drives organizational change.
Every year we invest in the professional growth of our employees through numerous and diverse training initiatives. Since 2009, we have launched an Academy dedicated to training future store managers of Unieuro stores, as well as entrepreneurs and managers of affiliated distributors who operate in the territory with the Unieuro and Unieuro City brands. Participants, identified within the company population through an internal application process, are selected through assessment centers and selection interviews.
In addition to the training courses required by law (Health and Safety, Organizational Model 231, Privacy), there are other training courses and campaigns dedicated to both store staff and headquarters staff. In this regard, by way of example, during FY24 an important training activity was carried out to promote the knowledge and understanding of the Beyond Omni-Journey Strategic Plan. In full alignment with the plan, a training campaign focused on Sustainability was also launched, which will involve the entire company population for a period of 3 years.
We continue to work to further enrich our training offer and to design and launch initiatives that help support colleagues in carrying out their role with increasing effectiveness, accompany them in facing phases of change and transformation, develop the critical skills necessary to pursue the strategy and disseminate the Corporate Culture, in line with the Values and the Leadership Model.
