Dispose property to destroy less: the Unieuro’s RAEE communication campaign

Starting in June, Unieuro launched the campaign “Dispose property to destroy less”: an initiative aimed at promoting the conscious disposal of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). These devices may contain both hazardous substances (such as cadmium, lead, mercury, and chromium) and materials (like copper, iron, aluminum, plastic, but also gold, silver, and rare earths) which, if not managed correctly, can harm human health and the environment. 

Thanks to proper disposal, however, the materials contained in WEEE can be recovered and reused, creating new resources and products. 

The project, promoted in stores, aims to highlight some of Unieuro’s most important values: trust in responsible innovation and the responsibility of providing accurate information to customers.
