Unieuro joins Valore D
Unieuro has announced its adhesion to Valore D, the first association of companies in Italy dedicated to promoting an inclusive culture that values gender balance and diversity, through dialogue with companies and institutions.
Adhering to Valore D is part of a broader framework of initiatives aimed at further strengthening the culture of diversity and inclusion, towards which Unieuro has demonstrated an innate sensitivity, as evidenced by the high representation of women within the company population, with values close to 50%.
This attention has also emerged from the results obtained by completing the Inclusion Impact Index, the qualitative and quantitative tool developed by Valore D that analyzes inclusion within companies at 360°. Completing the questionnaire allowed the brand to map its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, with the aim of measuring their effectiveness and further strengthening them.
Furthermore, in parallel, Unieuro has implemented the “Policy for the Protection of Victims of Gender Violence” through which, in addition to condemning all forms of physical, sexual, and psychological harassment, it is committed to promoting a company culture based on mutual respect and equal dignity among all workers, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, and identity, and to implementing appropriate measures to prevent and suppress any inappropriate behavior.
Unieuro’s commitment to Diversity & Inclusion policies has also been recognized internationally: in fact, also this year, the brand – the only one in Italy in the electronics retail sector – is included in the Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2024 ranking, confirming itself among the 850 leading companies in Europe for Diversity.
